Biographical Info She is the author of three volumes of "Roadrunner Tales," containing 1,000 stories about New Mexico. Mary has taught for Oasis, Central New Mexico Community College, the University of New Mexico’s Continuing Education and Senior Summer School. She has spoken to two national conventions as well as given presentations to many groups in and around Albuquerque and across New Mexico.

Program Description New Mexico is a vast and varied land blessed with a fascinating history, diverse people, and rich cultures. Storytelling has long been a tradition in the Land of Enchantment, helping provide a link between those people and their cultures and conveying the lessons and stories of New Mexico's past. This presentation is a collection of 'strange but true' stories -- some humorous, some poignant -- that illuminate the state's history.
