Biographical Info Margaret Montoya is a UNM law professor who writes about race, culture and communication. A New Mexico native, she graduated from Harvard Law School.
Program Title SILENCE: Listening to Its Many Meanings
 
Program Description Does "silence" mean people have nothing to say? Montoya argues that Hispanas and other women of color tell their stories using techniques- like silence- unfamiliar to mainstream listeners. This talk can make us all become more adept at communication.
