A Renaissance Fair with Spanish Flair!

Come see this years Renaissance Fair at El Rancho de las Golondrinas There will be jousting, sword fighting and Celtic games; a chance for kids to interact as defense for the Spanish Galleon from marauding pirates; belly dancing and flamenco and countless more activities! This all takes place against the setting of a Medieval Village. You are encouraged to dress in your medieval finery (there will be a costume contest!) and come spend the day in medieval times. Museum of Spanish Colonial Art: Beltrán-Kropp (Santa Fe)

The Spanish Colonial Arts Society announces the largest permanent gift of Peruvian art in its 87-year history. Cowboy Movie Night! (Santa Fe)

As part of the exhibit Cowboys Real and Imagined, join film critic and Santa Fe New Mexican journalist Robert Nott for a discussion and showing of John Wayne's The Cowboys. Filmed at various locations in New Mexico and elsewhere, The Cowboys (1972) is considered one of John Wayne’s greatest movies. Based on the William Dale Jennings’ novel, the movie follows a cattle drive from Montana to South Dakota with real “boys,� after the real ones flee the range in search of gold. Free.
